Economic and Skills Development

As part of our efforts to provide community development services, Oasis is keen to provide a wide range of training and skills development services.

Oasis recognises that manpower development is a key requirement for the sustainable growth of any community. Furthermore, in line with our vision to actively contribute to the development of a sustainable community, Oasis seeks to promote the development of training programmes that will aid the capacity of the workforce to support the delivery of services within the community. Oasis currently runs FREE empowerment workshops and Seminars that are aimed at creating enabling environments for the development of research and business ideas and also fostering networking to enhance resource capacity.

Oasis will through her Training and Skills Development Programme expand the existing training provision to embrace awareness seminars that will foster the development of:

a)      A learning city

b)       A safe city

c)      A green city

d)      A wealth-creating city; and

e)      A healthy city, all in line with our strategic vision for our city.

These programmes are delivered by Oasis' core team of experts from the various sectors and externally based experts are co-opted when necessary.
